John Stintzi is a nonbinary writer, teacher, visual artist & designer who was born and raised on a cattle farm in northwestern Ontario. After completing a BA in English at the University of Manitoba, John moved to New York to pursue an MFA. John now lives in Kansas City, Missouri, works for a non-profit tech company, reads fiction for Nat. Brut, and teaches creative writing whenever possible.
John has published fiction, poetry, interviews, and book reviews throughout the US and Canada (See: curriculum vitae), and is currently in the throes of shopping around their first novel as well as their first collection of poetry. John's poetry chapbook The Machete Tourist will be published in the spring of 2018 with k | f | b.
